I love what I am seeing so far with OnePageCRM. One of the features I was interested in was the Autoflow feature. For me, this entire project is a site hustle where I will not be in the application for much of the day. I have a day job where I work on a corporate computer and we can’t load sites like this on that computer.
So, that is one of the reasons I was very interested in the Autoflow. I used the built in Web Forms tool to easily build a form and place it on my website. I love the feature that this automatically adds a new contact for me. I was hoping to have that trigger an email to the contact. Since the user just submitted the form, I would like to strike while the iron is hot (and they are at their keyboard) with an automated email giving them more information about our products.
HOWEVER, I have read and been told that OnePageCRM doesn’t support automated emails without a user actually approving the email. OUCH! I understand the caution around this. I have been programming long enough to have accidently sent multiple emails to the same account. But, I don’t think that should stop us from having this functionality.
I understand it could be something the account owner would have to opt in to. The default functionality would always be the safe way you have it.
I am guessing I might be able to put Zapier or something in the process, but I really want the email sent from OnePageCRM, so I get to use the Email templates built into the application.
Can anybody think of a way I might be able to make this work?
