This post would relate to all those trying to connect OnePageCRM with any business intelligence tool using the URL of OnePageCRM.
The suggestions on the developer page look interesting. Do try including .xml format to the URL. It may solve your issue. It did not work out for me though.
I want the BI tool- Qlikview to take the username and password of OnePageCRM user and get access to the concerned accessible data source. When I try changing the format of the URL to .xml format, the message i received was "A name contained an invalid character. On line number: 8. on column number: 384. System ID: https://app.onepagecrm.com/contacts.xml".
could someone help me out with this issue?

Thank you for spotting this. We will take a closer look into this problem and will try to fix that.
If you want to get OnePageCRM contacts, you should rather use our API (which supports XML responses too): https://app.onepagecrm.com/api/v3/contacts.xml
You will find more information about our Contacts API here: http://developer.onepagecrm.com/#contacts

Hi Pawel. When I directly give this, it says access denied. Where is it that I can give the username and password that I use for onepagecrm?

@chaitanya First you have to use "login" API method in order to get an API key (as described here: http://developer.onepagecrm.com/#auth).
Then you will have to use this API key in order to sign every further API request, as described here http://developer.onepagecrm.com/#signing
Also, on our GitHub account (https://github.com/onepagecrm) you will find sample code for different languages (Ruby, Python, PHP).

I used this URL as ¨the data from webfiles¨. When I click next, I get access is denied. I must be making a mistake somewhere. Is the URL I am giving wrong?

@chaitanya I'm affraid that in such case won't be able to help you in here as Qlikview does not support OnePageCRM API. Please contact with Qlik support as this problem will have to be resolved on their side: http://www.qlik.com/us/services/support

Hello guys! I see you are also interested in Qlikview. So I really want to share pretty useful article about how to hire Qlikview developer. You will find a lot of information there. Check it and enjoy reading!
