Create company directly (not as part of Contact?)

Does the API allow a Company to be created in this way or do I have to create it as part of a Contact?

(There will still be a contact, but my company works mainly with the Company as the main entity)

Hi Frank!

Operation of creating a company directly via API is not supported now, but you can create a contact first and then add a company to the contact, so the company will be created (our main entity is a contact).
