Hi,
How can i find out under which Status a contact was INITIALLY created?
To explain:
We are differentiating between Leads and Contacts:
Lead: An individual or company that might be interested in what we sell
Contact: A lead that has been qualified as a potential purchaser
To do so: I am using the "status" = MQL or SQL or Contact
2 Scenarios:
a) a sales person generates a Contact with status contact
b) a BDR generades a contagct of status lead ; Later in Process this lead is buying and then is set to status contact
I want to analyze in which time period how many LEADS are being generated .... but now either i look for new contacts no matter of status in general or Look for Contacts of status lead - none of me gives me the right answer
Any Ideas?

To track the history of updates for a contact, you can review the contact's timeline. This will provide you with insights into the changes made to the status field over time.
Additionally, consider utilizing tags to further organize your contacts. For instance, you can tag a contact as "lead" upon creation to distinguish it from other statuses when the status changes.

Can I access the timeline via API?
Or is it only accessible via Web interface and I would have to create historical Data storage?

Thank you for your interest in accessing the timeline via API. Currently, the timeline is only accessible via the web interface. We are considering providing API access in the future, but it's not among our immediate priorities at the moment.
